Spirit Of Boom has continued to add to his long list of achievements with a win in the Magic Millions Cup last Saturday January 14, 2012.

The four-year-old entire won the race by half a length ahead of Startsmeup and Latin News.

Spirit Of Boom has now won six of his 23 race starts and has earned more than $600,000 in prize money.

The Sequalo gelding benefited greatly from the dry track at the Gold Coast on Saturday.

“He’s a fantastic horse and he has really hit his straps this time in,” trainer Tony Gollan said.

“He hates rain-affected tracks and he has been plagued with wet surfaces all the way through his career.

“He should have won a lot more races but I get a huge thrill every time he wins.”

Gollan is now looking towards a Melbourne spring campaign with Spirit Of Boom.

I don’t yet know what path we’ll take to get there but he will definitely be in Melbourne in the spring,” he said.
